farm tractorResidential Apprenticeship

Veterans who want to live on the farm in the Liberty Hall residence can do so for the entire year of the program. The Liberty Hall residence is a drug, alcohol and firearms free facility that lets the residents concentrate on their new skills, new friends and improving their lives without distractions.  The residents are given access to Columbia County veterans resources.  when not on duty they are free to explore the Catskills, Adirondacks and Hudson River Valley.   Other activities are offered for free as well including equine therapy/Horseback riding lessons, art studios and classes, working with service dogs or just enjoying the scenery.

Visiting Apprenticeship

Visiting apprentices are enrolled in the one year skills program but provide their own housing and show up for work assignments and classes at the appropriate time.  All of the services and classes available to the residential apprentices are open to visiting apprentices as well.
